No more than a couple of millimetres off kilter, but enough to be noticeable.<\/p>\n<p>This is puzzling because, in all other respects, this highest of high-end pancake houses, nestling among the haute-couture flagships of Tokyo\u2019s Ginza district and fitted out in bracingly minimalist decor, is perfection. The plates and cups are the definition of Japanese ceramic elegance. The spindly handled spoons and forks have been created by one of the country\u2019s most famous designers to fit the pinnacle of pancake Epicureanism.
