He likes to reference what he sees when he witnesses the joy of 7-year-olds playing hide-and-seek.<\/p>\n
\u201cEvery one of them knows that to have a fair game, you\u2019ve got to keep your eyes closed while you count,\u201d said Power, who has taught at the University of Notre Dame since 1982.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe need to understand, if we are going to endorse cheating as a means to an end, the children are watching,\u201d he said. \u201cSo it becomes a question of how do you want to raise your kids? We can\u2019t get much lower as a culture if cheating is no longer a moral issue but a form of coping. We need to change the conversation.\u201d<\/p>\n
