Another Taoist temple, this one in Caohe itself, <a class=\"css-1g7m0tk\" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/mp.weixin.qq.com\/s\/ajwruQZbwOyE0k4fgT_rrw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">contributed<\/a> tens of thousands of dollars worth of medical equipment to help those sickened by the virus.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-exrw3m evys1bk0\">\u201cThe moment believers heard the news, they called us and asked how to help,\u201d said a nun who organized one of the fund-raising drives.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-exrw3m evys1bk0\">In temples, mosques and churches, China\u2019s religious believers have jumped into the national battle against the coronavirus. They have offered prophecies and prayers, ceremonies and services, as well as donations totaling more than $30 million.
