Department of Mental Health\u2019s Berkeley County center.<\/p>\n<p>During any type of crisis, whether it\u2019s an intense hurricane or shooting, South Carolina\u2019s mental health experts have found that the influx of patients doesn\u2019t come until immediate problems have cleared.<\/p>\n<p>After a hurricane, if a home needs repairs, the owner is likely to address that first prior to any mental health concerns.
