Thank you. It’s just how I’d love to start my day everyday.

2. Cennydd says:

On the other hand, I DO love Anglican chant.

3. Grandmother says:

That makes my face hurt. The harmony is beautiful, and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

4. Sam Keyes says:

I’m rather partial to “The Highway Code, Part One” which you can find on the youtube sidebar. (These videos are fun; I’ve had the recordings for a while but never seen them visualized!)

5. The_Archer_of_the_Forest says:

I used this bit in an Adult Forum one time when I was talking about how the Daily Office evolved, and what exactly Evensong is. People were rolling…

6. William P. Sulik says:

Also in the sidebar, I see the updated version of the creed coming to a TEC near you:

8. Cennydd says:

Don’t be surprised if you see this in the new TEC Book of Heresy.

9. austin says:

This hit the British charts in 1966, and was a top seller. Not sure what number it was on the hit parade.

10. Ad Orientem says:

That was awesome! I am still laughing. Thanks!

11. Scott K says:

Brilliant.

12. Todd Granger says:

The wit and talent of the Master Singers have been a delight since they began setting various bits of informational prose to Anglican chant in the 1960s.

“The Weather Report” is excellent, but I agree with Sam – “The Highway Code” is even better. Hearing words like “ob-struc-ti-on” and “in-for-ma-ti-on” sung in quasi-Coverdale pronunciation is priceless.

13. C. Wingate says:

My wife and I once carried on a lengthy conversation in the Old Scottish Chant.

14. Cennydd says:

Try it in Welsh!

15. Irenaeus says:

Fog has develop-ed overnight in much of England
and parts of Wales

Take a close look at the picture of “Wales” (0:39). Aren’t those palm trees?

16. Sherri2 says:

Irenaeus, maybe not as unlikely as it seems:
