Gracious who called your servant Hedda to lead the diocese of Winchester in ages past, grant that we, like him, may through your Holy Spirit seek to lead a faithful life of love, wisdom and concern for the church’s unity and witness, through Jesus Christ our Lord who with you an the Holy Spirit lives and reigns for ever and ever.
