Sooner or later [i]someone[/i] is going to declare that his civil rights have been violated and evoke those glorious words that we all know and love so well which reside in the Constitution — “separation of church and state.”
Yes, we’re offending the atheists in the malls. 🙂
The US Constitution DOES NOT contain the phrase “separation of church and state”. Court decisions have construed what is actually in the Constitution to mean that church and state must be separate. I totally concur with the intend until the interpretation becomes absurd.
