Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing; thou hast loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness, that my soul may praise thee and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to thee for ever.

A question to the blog author or other readers. I’m doing my best to acclimate myself to the church and while I have a book of common prayer, I confess to some difficulty of the proper way to use it as it pertains to daily readings, lessons, prayer and such. I fully intend to learn but in the meantime, does anyone know of a link affiliated with the Church of England and it’s offshoots that posts the daily readings and lessons online? Thanks.

The Church of England new Website is here and links to services and daily readings are here from the two service books used, the traditional Book of Common Prayer [1662], still the official prayer book, and the more contemporary Common Worship which also contains the traditional services, as well as a lot of other material.
