Apparently this has been in the works for a year, without my knowledge (but with everyone else in the family in on it). He was sprung on me as a surprise this past Saturday. I am still recovering. 7 weeks old, his name comes from the Hebrew word for comfort which may be found, for example, in Isaiah 40–KSH.
As I remember from a decades-ago classroom example of the use of the word “axiomatic”:
“‘The puppy is cute’ is axiomatic.”
But they are all cute in their own way. 🙂 Hope you all have years of enjoyment together.
Kendall is that a labrador? They are the most affectionate of dogs. Lucky you. Looks like a splendid dog for a splendid guy.
Oh, yeah, that has to be a lab pup. No doubt he will be a comfort indeed, and quite entertaining.
Lucky dog (both of you)!
Oh Kendall, SO ADORABLE!!! and I’m SO jealous! (in a good way!)
I got a black lab puppy, Riggy, (full name Rigolet after a small fishing village in the province of Labrador Canada, where we had family friends…) as a birthday present when I was 9. She was an absolutely amazing dog. We’ve never had another black lab since because we knew we’d always compare any successor to her. But I have a HUGE HUGE love and soft spot in my heart for Black labs.
Next time in the States, can I come over and pet him?!?!?
My first dog was a black lab. My, what a marvelous and loving dog she was. Someday maybe I will see her again.
Wonderful puppy, Kendall!
A friend of mine says there are only two sources of unconditional love: Jesus and labs.
What a wonderful gift!
