    Yes, it could bring rain, but not necessarily the amount of rain they need to ease the drought. They need at least two weeks’ worth……or more……of on-and-off rain to make a substantial dent.

    We were on the island of Abaco in the Bahamas when Hurricane Floyd struck full force in 1999. It looks like Hanna will hit them head on again. These islands have no protection at these times. Please offer up your prayers for these faithful Christians and lovers of the Lord.

    I’m with Doug in #1: I have family in North Georgia who have been as dry as a bone for a couple of years now. I’ve been praying this hurricane season would bring some low-grade storms in to wet them down. Fay helped, and it looks like Hanna will help even more.
