A Prayer to Begin the Day from the German from the Prayer Manual

We praise Thy divine power and glory, O God: the Father, Who createst all things from everlasting to everlasting; the Son, our Saviour and Redeemer; the Holy Spirit, our Helper and Comforter. We praise Thee, that Thou judgest the earth in righteousness: we praise Thee, that Thou waitest for us with Thine eternity: we praise Thee, Who wilt bring all things to an end: we praise Thee, Who wilt finish what Thou hast begun. Help us, Thy children, O Lord, and enlarge our hope. We travel towards Thee to meet Thee, and we wait for Thy day. Thy kingdom come.
