Almighty and everlasting God,
who didst grant to Your servant Berchán
the spirit of wisdom and monastic devotion,
grant that we, like him,
may live in service to others
and keep our hearts fixed on the kingdom of heaven.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ,
who lives and reigns with Thee and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
