Some of the faces behind Farage are classic, especially when he says none of them have ever held “proper jobs.”
While the temptation to relish the moment must have been overwhelming, this demonstrates Farage’s limitations as a leader. If he wanted the best deal possible from Brexit, a little humility might not have been out of place, especially given the narrow margin of victory.
But then humility seems in short supply these days, among losers and winners alike.
