There is no sound and the plane is off in the distance but you get to see the beginning of the landing and the end if you look carerfully.

It was like landing a passenger jet on an aircraft carrier (without the aircraft carrier).

yup — ’cause when a plane hits the water, a tailhook grabbing an arresting wire may feel pretty gentle.

My Dad was a radio operator on a B17 forced to ditch off of Maui in 1942. The ocean action caused him to send this message in morse code: Hit ….. Hit ….. Hit as they skipped across the waves. Smaller plane, no fuel (that was the problem), and no big jet engines hanging down, but they had the same result. Great pilots make the difference.

Wow that’s pretty awesome. It is cool that no one was hurt during that landing. There are not too many superb pilots in the world but these guys are real professionals. I remember the same story was in Japan I guess, when pilots landed a plane with broken windows.. They weren’t able to see anything, only through side windows. It is awesome. I respect such people. Thanks for the video here.
