In amongst all the stuff about relief and development about 16 mins in:
[blockquote]David Virtue:
“Archbishop Deng, last Summer at Lambeth you called on The Episcopal Church, especially Gene Robinson to resign, it was causing great hardship and pain to the people of the Sudan, because of his homosexuality. Has anything changed since last Summer when you said those things at Lambeth and the present situation in the Sudan or here among the Primates?”

Archbishop Deng Bul Yak:
“We are discussing that within the Primates and the situation of the statement of the Sudan has stayed the same – so we have not changed from, have not deviated from our statement. What is needed is the Primates and the church in the Anglican world really to wrestle with the issue so it comes to an end.”[/blockquote]

Then back to global warming.

It’s really nice for them to issue statements about things about which they can do nothing and ignore that which they can.

If anything is to be done, it looks like it is to be up to us, the faithful in North America, to correct the situation. Very little help seems to be expected from the World-wide AC.

Worth listening carefully to what +Deng Bul has to say about the deteriorating situation in Sudan.

5. Br. Michael says:

3, I am afraid that we will have to be willing to walk away from the AC. It seems to be nothing more than a TEC enabler.
