A Prayer for Holy Saturday by Michael Keeler-Walker

Loving Father, in the despair of your death upon the cross, our minds search the horizon in the hope and anticipation that we might but glimpse the light of your Easter resurrection.

In the silence of today, we remember that in death you remained hidden from the world and in our sorrow we keep watch with you. Through the stillness speak to us the words of confidence that we might not keep our faith concealed but instead go forth to share with others the gift of love that you so freely give to us.
Amen.
