    Delighted and surprised to see this post on this blog!

    I was at the game and, whilst the FA Cup ranks as no more than a consolation prize for a club with ambitions as large as Chelsea’s, (now extending to the League and the Champions League), it is still football’s most historic trophy and a fair end to a season of transition.
