The one play I actually saw last night. Not a big football fan, but it WAS impressive.

Oh, No! Steeler highlights. This could be a rough year for nonSteeler fans!

Indeed, Bruce. Both for Troy’s sake and that of the tream. As the rest of the night showed, Troy’s absence after he got hurt diminshed the Steelers’ performance, as good as it was. (They also need to get a running game, but that’s a different issue.)

One o the few football games I watched from beginning to end. My heart nearly broke when Hines Ward (!!) fumbled the ball just before the end of the 4th quarter. Go Steelers!

  7. Tired of Hypocrisy says:

Hey, that was no fumble. Hines Ward was stripped of the ball in a great defensive play. But, Ward is one of the toughest players in NFL history, he can take the heat. The guy just hasn’t got it in him to take a knee, he’s gonna fight for every yard he can get. I loved this game, it was typical Titans/Steelers smash mouth football. The Steelers deserved to win, but I like the way the Titans took it to them in their house in the first game since the Steelers re-took possession of the Lombardi trophy.
