    As per usual, Lambeth has issued a statement that we are supposed to read one way, and progressives are supposed to read the other. I suspect that what happened was that they screwed up the press release timing, and instead of both liberal and conservative releases going out simultaneously, the conservative one was delayed, and LC saw a copy of the one sent to Naughton and ENS headlined “Only Provinces Can Adopt Covenant”. Only later did LC receive their copy headlined “Archbishop Supports Diocesan ‘Endorsement’ of Covenant.”
