I had great fun trying to identify where the spacecraft was over earth. Here are my findings so far:
0.38 Mid-West with Lake Michigan and the lights of Chicago very clear to the top left (you can even make out the lights of Grand Rapids)
2.02 flying over Italy with a few seconds before, Sardinia and Corsica (bear in mind that Europe is to the right, Africa to the left()
2.20 Nile, with Israel brilliantly lit up around the curve of the Med, and again, even more clearly on another day at 2.42
But what is the desert area at 3.07? Could it be Baja California? And what is the stormy region at 3.21?
Any other areas identified by eagle-eyed readers?

Drat. For top left, read top right

I’ll have to watch it a few more times to ID the places; the time-lapse is very fast. Meanwhile, I love the Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis! I also love the fact that Vimeo is an app on our Samsung LCD Smart TV; it looks marvelous!
