I think that I last saw someone who looked like that in 2006 at the Columbus, Ohio convention center—but the man in the photo is a lesser man than the one I saw in Ohio. Good work, Father.
Inspirational change for those such as myself who have been, to put it in the language of KevinBabb, corporeally greater, rather than lesser. Great work, great discipline, Father Harmon.
I had not seen a recent photo of this man till I saw the one above, and I can confirm he does indeed appear “lesser.” Congratulations. Now the question is: are you going to share the cause?
My spouse(also a priest) had to attend a development meeting the other day, and wore coat/tie instead of clericals because the former was more appropriate. One of the female attendees(used to seeing him in a collar) said, “Oh, it’s you!! But, you look like James Bond”!! 🙂 Minus the Brioni wardrobe…
Maybe what we’ve got here is James Bond with a beard–Good on ya, sir!! 🙂
In that movie, I’ll skip Richard Gere, give me Sean or the bad guy(Cross) any day–with that voice, anyway, Sean could be plug-ugly as a rock and he would still be hot. 🙂
Re: all the Bonds, Sean, Pierce, and Daniel are really good, each in their own way. I can’t wait to see Daniel in “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo”; I like the character he’s playing. I don’t think Timothy Dalton was a bad Bond; the writing just wasn’t as good for his movies. He is such a dead ringer for a younger Laurence Olivier. And he and Ben Cross(and Olivier, too), GREAT voices as well.
Roger Moore wasn’t bad to look at, but the acting was rather wooden and all the pithy comments got old. And George Lazenby was the most wooden in my view, but probably one of the handsomest men I’ve ever seen.
Daniel has been great in the last two movies; it will be neat to see what he does with the third, especially playing off the fantastic Javier Bardem.
I think my spouse is nice to look at but I think the comment was directed more at his wardrobe than his looks. It’s rather a scream when clergy are out of “uniform”–the other day he dropped me off at the hair salon while he went to run some errands. He was just wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and jacket. My stylist, who knows him, later said, “Oh, I didn’t even know that was him–I didn’t know him without the collar–I thought he was some guy in jeans you were talking to in the foyer!!” Yeah, just a bum, but he’s a nice bum… 🙂
He doesn’t just look suspicious, he looks guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
Nice picture!
Lookin’ great, Boss.

Actually, I think he looks very pleasant, earnest, and kind. 😀
@4…of course, I mean “lesser” strictly in a corporeal sense, not in terms of character or spirituality.
But you knew that….

#5, My post wasn’t a response to yours, no worries! I was chuckling and reacting to post #1. 🙂

John 3:30?

#10 — Which one? Sean, Pierce or Daniel? (If you say Pierce, I will be insanely jealous, lol!)
Slimmed down, lean and mean (except for the smile – it’s just a facade).
Lookin’ good, my man.
I would definitely buy a used car from this man.
A mere shadow of your former self!!
#11, of those I’d say the most like Pierce, but in reality I think he looks most like the British actor Ben Cross of “First Knight” fame
