As I have commented numerous times, there is no flawless indicator, but Intrade has one of the very best records out there which is why I like to keep an eye on it.
One of the truly interesting things I have noticed in the GOP primary is the increasing level of vitriol and hatred coming from the Left leaning news and editorial circles, who for years has bewailed the manifold sins and wickedness of an ever more conservation GOP, over Romney. One would think they would be happy that the GOP appears to be heading for a moderate nominee.
Unless the Republican party chooses a true conservative – fiscal, foreign policy, social – Obama will win reelection. It will simply be a replay of the McCain candidacy. A “moderate” has no chance.

Archer, they’re going to villify whomever the GOP nominates.

I disagree. Independents and disgruntled people want more centrists who will buck the us/them conservative/liberal entrenchment and not more.
