Some readers might think this cartoon is an exaggeration of the claims, demands, prevarications, whines, and wishes made by prospective clients to financial advisors. I have only been in the financial services business since 2003, but have heard this – a lot! Especially the insistence that the FA provide his or her services for free.
OK, this is pretty funny. But I have to disagree with the guy that index funds are “not diversified and are risky.” Of course financial advisors hate index funds — they are, as he says, “not professionally managed” — which is not a bug but the major feature! 🙂
