Oh my. What drama. I can’t believe Portugal tied it with just 30 sec. left. I’m watching here on a terrible internet connection (Univision, in Spanish – which I don’t speak!- because it’s the only free streaming site I could find that I could connect to…) because power is out in my neighborhood in Africa, meaning no TV. (It was 114 today, it’s still nearly 100 as I type this… and that has meant brown outs and blackouts…) [My modem is wireless…, and my computer battery is good, thankfully!]

This is a heartbreaker when the US was so close to getting through.

BTW, maybe it’s just the confluence of “Anglican watching” (i.e. the ACNA Archbishop election and the Anglican TV videos from the Conclave) and World Cup soccer, but does anyone else think Graham Zusi of the US World Cup team looks like Fr. Andrew Gross, the communications director for ACNA?!?! I did a double take watching the game tonight…! LOL!

Karen B you are on to something. Compare Zusi:

    and Gross here:

As Edna Everage would say: Spooky.
