Our panel of bloggers reacts to last night’s election results and dissects media coverage of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

i did not hear the story as i am at work but i would say that yes, for some reason,(i think it has something to do with the fact that the majority of them are boomers and obama is trying to act like MLK), they ask much more difficult questions of her, and are always insinuating that obama is somehow better. reminds me of the pre-war coverage when most turned a blind eye to any kind of serious debate.
Yes, they are. Isn’t it wonderful.
Yes they are harder. One example from your own headline: She is referred to as ‘Hillary’. The others (males, one and all) are referred to as ‘Obama’, ‘McCain’ and ‘Huckabee’. It ain’t so subtle.
I think the decision to use “Hillary” is to avoid confusion with ‘Bill’ if “Clinton” were used.
Now, if the Clinton crowd had an ounce of introspection and honesty they would be able to say to us conservatives, “So THIS is how you’ve been treated by the media? I get it now”.
I won’t hold my breath.
I’m laughing too hard.
#3, Sen. Clinton’s campaign webpage (www.hillaryclinton.com) has a banner at the top that says “Hillary for President.”
A button to “Join Team Hillary”
A button to “Get E-Mail from Hillary”
I could go on, apart from the url itself, on the main page in a quick scan I don’t she her called anything BUT “Hillary”
I think she’s OK with using “Hillary.”
