After clicking through a couple of websites I found the programme. (Link is a PDF.) One day of provincial concerns (facilitated, no doubt); two days of ACO concerns, one day of ecumenical concerns (ACO-led). Time at the end for “other resolutions.” Is this worth all the hype?

Actually, I will give ACNS credit for mentioning, in the press release, that Uganda will not be sending delegates because of the attendance by TEC. This is the first time in memory that ACNS has recognized that TEC caused conflict within the Communion.
Will be interesting to see whether Welby holds to his promises at the Primates’ “gathering.” Given that the ACO/ACC is charging ahead on forcing the issue over TEC, hard to see how he can avoid a row.

I see that the Bible study chosen is “Ruth”. This is one of the revisionists’ favorite books to use in their attempts to convince people that same-sex attraction is celebrated in the Bible. In their opinion the love between Ruth and Naomi is a model of lesbian love. Never mind the fact that Ruth gets married to Boaz in the end. No doubt, those in charge of the ACC have an agenda, and that is to steer the conversation away from things like Romans 1.

4. Marie Blocher says:

” Members will discuss a range of issues around the theme “Intentional discipleship in a world of difference” – how Christians can be faithful to the Gospel in all aspects of their lives in the different cultures and situations that Anglicans find themselves in.”
That’s going to be difficult for those delegates who do not believe the Gospel.

5. Capt. Father Warren says:

And the ACNA will continue its Kingdom work of winning souls for Christ.
