Kendall. Wow! To say I’m astonished by the relevancy of this for me personally and my team here in Africa corporately today is an understatement. Just utterly amazingly in tune with what God has been speaking to me through His Word in recent days as I and we face times and situations of upheaval and difficult change, and yet also wonderful new ministry opportunities. I was up until 5 this morning wrestling with the Lord in prayer over some matters and this is just wonderful confirmation of what I sensed the Lord was speaking.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this today. Due to technical problems and travel I’ve hardly been near the blog for 2 weeks. I’m so glad I caught this today!!!

I too was struck by this message today. Seemed new to me – although I’ve read Chambers daily many times through.
This is certainly an uncertain time – good to have this reminder of the way through.
Thank you for your blog. I always find it interesting.

Great selection! It knocked my socks off this morning.

    Kendall,
I’m a faithful reader of your blog, usually more than once a day, but I rarely comment. I had to smile as soon as I read the title of this post, as I’ve read Chambers daily for years, and I knew immediately that it must be this morning’s reading. If it’s possible for someone deceased to be a spiritual mentor, he’s certainly mine. Every year he takes me a little deeper…even though I’ve read this many times before, it couldn’t have been more apropos than it is today…thank you for posting it…it clearly is blessing many lives.
    In His love,
    Susan Ives

Utmost is my favorite devotional too and when I miss it, I am impoverished and miss some essential encouragement or warning that I really needed (to read and heed) that particular day.
