No surprises here. NC has many black voters (overwhelmingly voting for Obama); a large number of highly-educated suburbanites, especially in the ‘Triangle’ cities; and a large number of college students. It was pretty much a pushover for the Illinois Senator.
I think all three of the candidates are less than what we can get really excited about…something is broken in our process when these are the best we can produce…because it is not the best that America has to offer by a long shot.
