the Lord saw to it that we’d see Live Wimbledon today, even if we went to morning service. 🙂 too bad it got rained out. 🙁

What an incredible match. It was really something to hear John Mcenroe say it was the greatest tennis match he had ever seen.

It was also so gratifying to see both the winner and the runner up displaying such courtesy.

Ah, Kendall, but McEnroe wasn’t a spectator for the infamous Borg-McEnroe match, nor some of the McEnroe – Connors classics! 😉 You have to think McEnroe is leaving just a little bit of room there for his matches to be up there at the very top! Today may be the best tennis Johnnie Mac has ever watched, but is it the best tennis ever played? Let’s hear John answer that question! LOL

  4. Chris says:

Though it was compelling, I think there were too many unforced errors to make it the greatest match ever. McEnroe and Connors each won 179 points in the 1982 Wimbledon final, that ranks as #1 for me.

  5. Kendall Harmon says:

It was clear based on his comments that McEnroe was including his own matches. This one was longer than any of the great Borg-McEnroe or McEnroe-Connors battles.

And both Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer conducted themselves as gentlemen and sportsmen on the court. The same can’t be said for Mr. McEnroe and Mr. Conors.
