Obama Expected to Move Quickly on Key positions

Also, Obama is considering Sen. John Kerry, the 2004 presidential runner-up, as secretary of state, according to sources.

    By the way, I sure am going to miss my rebate checks from the Bush Tax Cuts. I guess I’m going to have to get used to writing checks to the IRS for the next four years. 🙁

    Such a decision would do nothing to quiet my apprehensions. I see Obama as a pacifist and socialist. Sen.Kerry as Secretary of State would foster the pacifist direction.

    Let’s eat drink and be merry. I’ll willing to bet Obama will soon find how difficult it is to have liberal Democrats and conservative Republicans to sit and agree on anything. I imagine he will become aware of when a 2/3 majority is required to pass legislation.
