…[His] plans are for his campaign to quickly start filling top jobs in the White House and cabinet. Leading the list for White House chief of staff is Chicago Rep. Rahm Emanuel, Obama’s biggest House cheerleader and a former top aide in the Clinton White House. His appointment, say Democratic insiders, could come as early as Wednesday. Also, Obama is considering Sen. John Kerry, the 2004 presidential runner-up, as secretary of state, according to sources.
If so, my vote against Obama, not yet 24 hours old, has already been vindicated.
Yikes!
Well, at least he can’t actually DO anything until mid January!
By the way, I sure am going to miss my rebate checks from the Bush Tax Cuts. I guess I’m going to have to get used to writing checks to the IRS for the next four years. 🙁
And Bill Ayres as Sec. of Education, no doubt.
Such a decision would do nothing to quiet my apprehensions. I see Obama as a pacifist and socialist. Sen.Kerry as Secretary of State would foster the pacifist direction.
Let’s eat drink and be merry. I’ll willing to bet Obama will soon find how difficult it is to have liberal Democrats and conservative Republicans to sit and agree on anything. I imagine he will become aware of when a 2/3 majority is required to pass legislation.
