Lord God, make us so reflect thy perfect love; that, with thy deacon Nicholas Ferrar and his household, we may rule ourselves according to thy Word, and serve thee with our whole heart; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Anglicans remember Deacon NICHOLAS FERRAR (1592-1637) who formed a spiritual community of married and single persons called Little Gidding. He was responsible for publishing George Herbert's "The Temple" in 1633. "Little Gidding" is part 4 of T.S. Eliot's "The Four Quartets." pic.twitter.com/INB4ov3Mcy
