This is sad. It shows how broken the AC is. We have RW seated with the PB of TEC who is the major player leading the way to destroy the AC. Those who are no longer willing to play with the game are staying away…but this meeting shows that the AC is fracture and it is only a matter of time before this is formalize. What is happening in TEC and the ACiC is happening in the AC.

Personally, the New Anglican Province will be formed with or without the ABC approval. No one is willing to wait for him. Being Anglican is more than simply being in Communion with the ABC. That is the old definition and most would like to continue in relationship with the ABC but not at the expense of true Anglicanism.

If one wanted to send a message of support to TEC, and one of non-support for the North American orthodox, the photo op is how I would have staged it, particularly with KJS seated to the perceived viewers right side of RW. Really telling from a PR perspective.

The AB of C has put his money on the wrong horse and future AB of Cs will reap the non-benefits of his actions. A declining church won’t be able to bail out future AB of Cs…..and let’s face it, this has come down to who has the bucks…….

That is one depressing picture. The ABC with KJS, and no ++Mouneer or ++Orombi in the picture. How sad.

I remember once when the former Presiding Bishop Frank Griswold stood at the rear and near the end of the line. My, how times have changed!

Orombi of Uganda and Mouneer Anis of Egypt are staying away because they know they will be outvoted. And the word is that the vote will be to suspend Southern Cone as a mark of criticism for its adoption of dioceses in the US against the wishes of the objections of the Communion as a whole to border crossing, as articulated at Lambeth 1988 and Lambeth 2008. http://www.thinkinganglicans.org.uk/archives/003526.html

That is a very interesting picture. I don’t know what to make of the fact that all the affluent, white people in the front.

I guess everyone isn’t welcome at the table…

She who has the gold makes the rules. He who takes her gold is made her sock puppet.

The difference between the Archbishop of Canterbury and Jesus Christ is when He was temped in the desert by Satan, Jesus Christ clearly, soundly and firmly rejected Satan’s offer. +Rowan sits smiling next to ….

Yep, she has the gold, all right……FOOL’S gold!

Nausea, pure nausea! And on Thanksgiving day, too. Nothing to see here folks, please move on? Plenty to see here folks. Stay and watch. A question: do they make these postcards for each member to send to the folks back home? Orombi and Anis absent. Speaks loud and clear. Don’t want to be in the room with She-who-must-be-obeyed (SWMBO). Also: Lamebeth deficit not as big as thought? Hmmmm. Could Trinity Wall Street be a little poorer, could the ACC be a little better off? Hat tip to the Americans? Will RW now jump through Byzantine hoops at someone else’s command? Stay tuned folks.
