In Tennessee Christ Church Cathedral rector resigns

[Kenneth] Swanson, has who led the church and its 2,000 members for the past decade, “is dealing with some personal issues,” Bauerschmidt said.

Court records show that Swanson filed for divorce from Barbara Swanson, his wife of almost 37 years, last week, citing irreconcilable differences. This is so sad. I don’t know anything about the situation or any of these people, yet my first thought reading this was, “the Enemy has got one.” A spin-shivering reminder that none of us are immune to Satan’s attacks and to be on our guard.

Resignation is a noble, humbling act. Any other takers out there?

Holy God, please bless Ken+ and his family with grace and healing, and please give Bishop Bauerschmidt and the people of the Cathedral wisdom and discernment in finding a new rector. Amen.

BTW, does anything disqualify anyone for any position in present day EcUSA any more?
Not with all that is going on in that club, sorry church.
    Just wondering.
Please note that my comment is not directed at the dean and his particular familial situation.
