The Living Church has a story on this. The final paragraph indicates it may be a week before the Anglican congregation makes a statement.

Sorry. The above comment should have been posted to the story on St. John’s Anglican in Petaluma.

What is an MP to do? Presumably load bills onto the taxpayer for things as bizarre as having one’s moat cleaned and building an island for the ducks in one’s duck pond or as dishonest as claiming for payments on a mortgage which has already been paid off. Presumably they thought no one would ever find out?

Well it all is coming out, and there is open revolt, which is leading to a fair number of MP’s having to announce their resignations. The Speaker of the House of Commons resigned in disgrace this week.

Sadly if you read your history, not much changes; but we did expect better of them.

[btw the reason for building the duck island was apparently to protect the ducks from the foxes – pointless as foxes swim!]
