Thank you Kendall. A beautiful moment and uplifting. However, it did produce in me the sad reflection that such a thing would be impossible in the UK. Our life-suffocating Health and Safety Regulations would not allow it.
Thank you Fr Dean. I was aware of an event at Liverpool St which was a case of flashmobbing – so successul that the police had to be called and the station closed, such were the numbers dancing – but on that occasion people were dancing to ‘silent’ music on their headphones whereas this would seem to have been a shared event with the co-operation of the station authorities. It cheers me up to think that they can be that flexible and light-hearted.
At first, I thought this was impromptu, but it is clearly a set-up. The choreography makes this clear. Amusing I suppose, but not much more than that. This is merely supposed to look impromptu, and so a touchy-feely con. I would have been interested if it had been spontaneous. Larry

I believe that you can find an event at Liverpool Street Station in January, 2009:

That was fun.
