It’s pretty plain now why those “observers” are there from the Communion–it’s so they can say, “see, we have our friends from the Communion here, so all is well.” I wonder if those observers are yet sensing how they are being used in such cynical fashion.

Actually, the Episcopal Church IS the The Unitarian Universalist Association church. There is no difference except maybe that annoying little sacramental thing.
Sad really to watch the death of a once great and influential church. For those of us already department it is simply further validation of our decision to leave after GC2003.
