From the Morning Scripture Readings

And just as it is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

–Hebrews 9:27-28

  1. Kendall Harmon says:

Some mornings I struggle with which portion of the Bible causes me most to ponder or hits me the hardest.

This morning I almost posted “Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in thy commandments” (Psalm 119:66) because the older I get the more important wisdom has become, and the more elusive it has become actually to have or live.
