Israel has gone on record that it won’t allow a nuclear Iran in its backyard. I think it’s not a question of “if” but “when” they strike. Of course they are dealing with the most anti-Israel US Administration in recent memory so they may not be able to count on the cover we usually provide them in the UN Security Counsel.
I can find no reason other than self-loathing that the American Jewish Community overwhelmingly votes Democratic even though Israel’s staunchest supporters the last 30 years have been Republicans.
