Energised by a clear win in a final TV debate, Conservative leader David Cameron sought on Friday to convince waverers in a tight election race they could trust him with Britain’s future.
With a week to go before an election, snap viewer polls judged Cameron, 43, the victor of the third and final TV debate on Thursday night. Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg, 43, was second while Labour Prime Minister Gordon Brown, 59, came last.
Well, I tend to think that ANYONE would be an improvement over the incumbent, Gordon Brown. But what do I know? I’m an American, and I don’t have to live with the consequences of the upcoming election, except to deal with the ripple effects from afar.

I don’t find any of the candidates to be all that trustworthy.
I would note how interesting it is that this election has been much more American/Presidential in nature, while America has moved to a more Parliamentary style politics.
