The difficulty of the questions varies widely from almost obscure information to the ridiculously easy. Does this survey really tell us anything at all? I took the 15 question version & scored 100% & thus in the 99th percentile. It has generated a lot of interest which tells us far more than the results of this survey. It stands as one of those pointless academic exercise & finding out nothing about nothing except a money grant for the people who conducted it.

Questions 44 and 45 are badly worded. The supposedly correct answer to each is 1, but that answer reflects an ignorant – and Protestant – perspective not consistent with the Catechism of the Catholic Church:

    (ROTATE Q.44 AND Q.45)
    44. Which of the following best describes Catholic teaching about the bread and wine used for communion?
(READ LIST IN ORDER. ENTER ONE ONLY)
1 The bread and wine actually become the body and blood of Jesus Christ, or
2 The bread and wine are symbols of the body and blood of Jesus Christ
