A Person Born a Man Who After Surgery Became a Woman, is Suing Malta for the Right to Marry a Man

A transgender Maltese is challenging Europe’s most staunchly Catholic nation for the right to marry a man. Joanne Cassar, 29, who underwent gender reassignment in Britain eight years ago, has begun her court battle in the conservative Mediterranean island but is prepared to take her case all the way to the European Court of Human Rights.

“I am not a ”˜trans’. I want to be a woman. I prefer that, when I die, on my gravestone is written ”˜Joanne’,” Ms Cassar, a hairdresser, said at her salon in Fgura.

The EU is not the solution. It’s the problem. Any state that is not prepared to allow persecution of Christians should stay out or secede if already a member.

    Getting blurry vision reading this.
    1. Born a male, presumably with the male chromosome, and the corresponding body parts.
    2. Thinks he’s female, and has had surgery to look that way.
    3. His birth certificate can be altered to reflect what was done to his body.
    4. He asserts that he should be able to marry another man.
    5. Presumably, this other man has no problem with that.

Bless their dear hearts. Sometimes, I do believe that I could live in a Roman Catholic theocracy.

I’d like to trim all the leaves on my magnolia tree so that they’re shaped like maple leaves. Then I’ll have a maple tree– for real! Then in the spring I’ll tap it so I can make maple syrup and… oh, dear. What’s wrong? There’s no sap coming out. And what are all those big white blossoms doing all over my maple tree? Oh, why won’t anyone believe me that it’s a maple tree?!? I know what I’ll do– I’ll sue them if they don’t quit calling it a magnolia. That’ll fix everything once and for all.

#3: That is one of the most hateful transdendrophobic screeds I have ever read – with a none-too-subtle anti-Canadian subtext, eh?
Could a hate-filled redneck magnolia move north to become a tolerant, inclusive maple? Of course she/he/it could! Apply for the grant now.

Evidence of a world gone mad. Discrimination now means: Disapproval of what I want to do.

I myself have always wanted to be a natural blonde, without being forced to artificially dye it blonde — and I force everybody to describe me as a blonde too. My *real* friends do so freely and voluntarily.

I have not yet been able to get the bigoted authorities to change my drivers license and birth certificate to record the Real Truth — that I, Sarah, am a natural blonde.

But my time is coming. It is, after all, what I prefer, and someday, freedom bells will ring for me too, as with all other discriminated against minorities.

Well, I STILL don’t get it. Surgery? OK. But you can make a real reproductive system. You can’t manufacture a clitoris, can you, I mean a real functioning one? Or a vagina? Estrogen shots may grow breasts of sorts, but the rest? Then again, why would a man marry a man who has been remanufactured as a woman? If you put a Mercedes body on a VW, it isn’t a Mercedes or a V-cedes; it is just a fake VW without the benefits of either but with all the liabilities. I understand the nature of his/her problem and i assume it is real, but the rest – marrying a man and all the window dressing – is pure fakery. Here is a simple irreversible truth, he is not a woman. whatever the disguise. Larry

This makes just about as much sense as aying that a woman who has been through the ceremony of ordination has actually received a soul changing grace from the Holy Spirit to become a priest. There is no Biblical authority for either. This is just a con based on looks through constuming. Neither are what they appear. God didn’t make a mistake, the persons are showing their narcissistic view of themseleves. When this so called woman delivers a child, then and only then will he be recognized as a woman. Until then both of these examples are living a lie. If anyone thinks that I am bigotted or prejudiced, show me the honest Biblical authority and then and only then will I agree that this is a woman. Neither this person with a mutilated body or the one claiming to be a priest are real, they are pretenders and do not know the truth.

  10. Paula Loughlin says:

I hate the term “gender reassignment.” as if gender is doled out willly nilly and not in accordance to our naughty bits. Gender is biology. The desire by some to be mutilated is a sad horror which deserve our prayers that they be made whole in all things. I am not speaking of the rare medical cases which do warrant a gender being assigned.

This person is male. This person has been mutilated. This person’s mutilation means that he can not perform sexually as a male. Therefore under Catholic canon law (if I understand correctly) he can not make a sacramental marriage. He is not female anymore than mutilating my dog and putting wings on the poor beastie makes him a bird. My dog might want to fly but God thought dogs were better off closer to the ground.

When I was a younger person people like this were brushed off as simply needing psychiatric treatment–and treated that way in the media–OR (more usually) ignored. Needless to say there was no movement to bend, warp, twist and deform the law to suit them
But nowadays the media loves stories like this and usually tells it with a spin of gushing approval as part of its agenda promoting sexual anarchy and immorality.

Once you do convince the “bigoted authorities”, have your hair blessed and enter it in the ordination process. 🙂

And the ethics of the surgeons? What can their justification be? And the AMA, how can they accept this travesty, the “do no harm’ bit, among other things. I still don’t get it. Larry
