She is a seriously talented young lady, and she handled the pressure beautifully–congratulations to her.
A very nice result, although Sharapova has come back from a shoulder injury and should be congratulated for her grit in doing so. If only she would stop shrieking on the court. I put the TV on “mute” when she is playing.
Lots of surprises in this Wimbledon! I was really hoping Andy Murray would get to the finals. It would be nice for the host country to crown one of its own as Wimbledon champion! They’ve had quite the drought in that respect!
