    Your comment on ASA decline is right on the mark. It is quite likely that ASA will fall to 600.000 in two to three years with a great impact on finances by 2013. There is no doubt some lag effect but as ASA declines so will Plate & Pledge. Statmann

    I don’t know, maybe it was the sheer enormity of 1 quarter of the once great church just dissappearing in a mere 5 years.

    I note that the count of active baptized members in TEC officially dropped below the two million mark _last_year_. As it stands now, the best TEC can do, short of blatantly lying, is to claim that it has _nearly_ two million members.
