I don’t know much about her, but who would want to be bishop knowing what I am shocked to see is going on in his/her cathedral following the links from the diocesan website?

Annual Winter Solstice Celebration December 15th-17th
This diocese is a sick joke and an embarrasment to us Anglicans much like TEC and its Presiding Bishop is becoming according to this from The Living Church.
We await with foreboding the canonisation of Pelagius. Abandonment of the doctrine of TEC as a charge against South Carolina? Some parts of TEC abandoned its doctrine and our faith long ago.
It is rather interesting that one can look at their website PR links, and find a press release (several months old) that the diocese was seeking nominations, but I did not find a release with the names of who is being considered.
She was rector of a fairly good size church, St Annes in the Fields Church, Lincoln, MA, where “she oversaw a large building project”. Giving did jump in 2006. The robroy rule of Episcopal building campaigns: even if you build it, they still won’t come. This rule was in effect, in that ASA has been falling at the parish – previously 200, now ~160.
Somewhat mysteriously, she was dropped a the large church and now is at an “inner city” parish with an ASA of 30-60.
robroy, you is making the insinuations without a lot of evidence. Looking at St. Anne’s, I see a parish that has its ASA ups and downs, but seems pretty stable; you could even argue that her departure is what brought on the recent decline in numbers. I also do not see where she was made to leave St. Anne’s, but perhaps you have inside info to which I am not privy.
I see, BTW, that we have a couple of floor nominees. I don’t know that anyone much here is going to approve of Dietsche’s theology, but I have to say that some of his cartoons are pretty funny.
Thanks #5- now that I see the list, I recall the nomination of Bp Whalon (who, even when he disagrees with you, is nice enough to respond to your email, which makes him rare among TEC bishops in my experience).

I must agree with #2 and #3…
