Thanks for posting Kendall. Very similar to my wife’s and my journey to the Catholic Church, which (warning — shameless plug ahead) she recounts in her new blog — http://sewardfolly.blogspot.com/ We are former members of Truro Church and loved that church and its people dearly but God was calling us, as we see it, “home.”

Thanks for the info on these posts. My family was much like Duquette’s, my mother was Methodist–my father Catholic (although neither were regular church goers). As a precocious brat teen-ager I researched the differences in my parent’s religions. I knew I could follow either path. To this day I am grateful God gave me the grace to follow the Path laid out by the Church founded on The Rock–St Peter– by our Lord and Saviour. Now I am in charge of our parish’s RCIA program and the parish is having its biggest class of converts ever–including an ordained woman minister who will be giving up the pastorship of her church to become Catholic.
