He’ll be a hard man to replace, and whoever replaces him will have some very big shoes to fill.

Yes, in ecclesiastical terms, more adventures than Indiana Jones. Under his leadership the Anglican Church in Uganda appears to have steadied and put down stronger roots than it had before. Plus of course he has been very involved in ministry to the church in the west.

Like our brother Cennydd, I pray that ++Henry will be blessed in retirement and that the Lord will raise up a worthy successor. I am encouraged by the way the Lord has recently provided successors to many of the great orthodox leaders. For example:

++Okoh to replace ++Akinola of Nigeria
++Wabukala to replace ++Nzimbi of Kenya
++Rwaje to replace ++Kolini of Rwanda
++Zavala to replace ++Venables of the Southern Cone

I am sure the Lord will provide – Jehovah Jireh.
