Thanks so much for posting these lessons. There is a real need for good teaching.

Thank you for this lesson! I have needed for so long to be taught, to be given new insights, new challenges, before I go off to teach.
Amen! to not trusting the teacher; James 3:1-2 stands at the head of every study sheet I provide for my students. My prayer is always that my mistakes will be either so small as to make no difference or so large that one of them will notice and call me on it. God bless you richly for providing this valuable service to all of us who seek to increase our knowledge of the Bible.

Good choice of material, Kendall! I’ve always been struck by the simplicity and profundity of both the opening verses and the close. Peace and joy!

Kendall, I’m so glad you’re making these available. It is a GREAT addition to the blog to have these kinds of featured teachings and sermons readily available. I really hope you will never hesitate to post more of such teachings out of modesty or fear of self-promotion. You have a great teaching gift and I’m so glad you’re sharing these resources beyond your local parish! “For such a time as this… ”

I’m hoping to listen to the whole series. However, it’s hard for me to listen to streaming audio / video much of the time due to poor internet connections. Is there any way I can download these to listen to them offline?

I’m just beginning to listen to 1 John 1 tonight… and I’m getting a great kick of how many books you have open on the lectern in front of you 🙂 Thank you for blessing the wider church with your love of learning and teaching!

Karen – if you follow this link to the Christ St Paul’s Vimeo page, point to the relevant video and then rightclick selecting ‘save target as’ you should be able to download the video to your computer.
