All three proposals have merit, but I suspect that seminaries could implement all three and still see the same 80% after 5 year rate that was lamented in the article.
Do we really think that seminaries are doing such a great job of ensuring that graduates’ lives and ministry focus on the Lord Jesus Christ, have an integrated grasp of the message of the Scriptures, and the tools to expound the Scriptures faithfully, that forward progress in these areas is not the single most important change that would have the largest pay-off for the global church?
