I am at home by myself, no problem. It seems we been moving apart to find work or opportunity. In addition most of us can only afford one holiday trip home, choosing Christmas over Thanksgiving. Mom is Cuba taking a break this year. I am making smoke offering of turkey and apple wood.

We had the three (adult) children home from graduate school, along with my brother Randy who is here to do and see our father, Stuart Harmon.

Enjoyed worship at Saint Michael’s in Charleston which included a lovely testimony from Eunice Logan.

Had a nice meal and are enjoying family time now, along with the three dogs and the cat.

At home with family, and that can be a crowd, 5 children, 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild along with the spouse of 1 grandchild and boyfireds of two granddaughters, in other words a true family gathering. It tells me what really matters. The past 4 years have been tough, all three sons work in the constrution trades and both sons-ion-law are brick masons, so things have been tight. AT my prayer today of blessing before we ate, I tried to remind everyone that although things were tough, we had one very important thing to be thankful for, our salvation given so freely by Christ Jesus. Everything else pales in comparison.
