It would have been hysterical if he’d punched a hole in the door with that thing.
Reminds me of another very different incident when a bishop of London in the 1930s (I forget the name) actually got inside the cathedral and the elderly canons tottered forward to greet him he said: ‘The see gives up its dead.’
